Technical Training Programs

Global Education Services (GES) is able to provide technical training in almost any area by using a flexible approach we call "Purpose-Built Teams" (PBTs). By combining our own in-house capabilities with our extensive experience and professional contacts, we are able to create specialized teams that match the needs of the specific training and participants. Our goal is that participants be able to immediately apply the information they have learned and use the professional connections they have made. Below are just the highlights of technical training programs.

Our Approach

Global Education Services develops practical, hands-on training programs by emphasizing field experience and the establishment of professional, long-term relationships. This approach is in contrast to traditional academic institutions that simply shorten their existing curriculum to meet a short-term training goal. To create the most comprehensive and desirable short-term training programs, the PBTs are comprised of qualified professionals who write curricula, market and teach programs using the most current training techniques.

Using superior academic and technical resources, GES designs its programs to meet the specific needs of each individual group. We understand how important it is for participants to maintain their newly acquired skills. To help participants stay current in their field, GES also has experience developing high quality follow-up materials, as well as follow-on activities.

• Interpretation/Translation
  No language training involved- GES hires professional interpreters to translate technical information in the native tongue of the participants, as well provide written translated materials. Whenever possible, GES will, at very low cost, utilize interpreting equipment, allowing for uninterrupted sessions during lectures and presentations. [ close ]
• Specialized Purpose-Built Teams (PBTs)
  Global Education Services operates with an innovative and flexible approach that uses "Purpose-Built Teams (PBTs)." Based on areas of interest and past experience, each PBT is carefully structured to meet the requirements of a specific project. Purpose-Built Teams are assigned key responsibilities to develop and operate short-term training programs and projects. Our approach produces an entrepreneurial atmosphere of excellence and helps control costs. In addition to keeping overhead low, this hallmark approach allows us to remain financially stable and to be flexible and responsive to a volatile market and changing trends in international education. • Extensive professional training capabilities
  To fulfill Global Education Services' goal of fostering global understanding and cooperation through education, we have successfully created hands-on, applicable international and domestic training programs for professionals from around the world. Our technical training and business development staff possess over 15 years of multi-disciplinary training experience in quality program development, implementation and assessment, creative marketing strategies and financial management. At the heart of Global Education Services' training capabilities is our curriculum development expertise. Our curricula focus on a variety of issues related to inter-cultural communications, international business and economics and globalization for the world community. With comprehensive experience in this field, GES creates flexible, practical training programs that address these and other critical topics. These curricula are often developed in cooperation with North American and overseas universities, government agencies and training organizations. [ close ]

• Option of receiving technical training at a number of our university or college partners around the world
  In addition to our own training capabilities, Global Education Services takes the approach of partnering with key institutions and resources in order to expand both GES and our partners' capabilities. We are able to create effective training partnerships, have much more flexibility in delivery and improve the understanding of short-term training capabilities, than would be possible by either individual partner. Both GES and our partners find these cooperative agreements to be quite beneficial. Because of our extensive connections, we have developed partnerships with key institutions that significantly increase the technical resources and training capabilities of both GES and our partners. For short-term program development, marketing and implementation, we currently work with:

• Usually two, three, or four weeks of training (option open for longer programs)

• Programs are priced to be competitive and responsive to the market.
  For most prospective providers, cost is a major issue. Programs usually range between $600 and $1000 per participant per week. However, length and technical difficulty are just two of the factors that ultimately affect the final cost. All of our training programs are developed with the client's financial concerns in mind.
